ADCO NEB Field

Scope: Sustainability Consulting (Estidama). Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operation intends to implement expansion to ADCO NEB field in terms of additional accommodation, administration and infrastructure works requirements. The expansion of the accommodation is required at Dabaiya, the expansion of administration building is required at Dabaiya and a new administration building is required at Rumaitha. These new facilities area location is about 100 KM south of Abu Dhabi. The overall project objectives are to accommodate the current shortage in the infrastructure facilities up to 2016 at both Aldabbiya and Rumaitha. The project comprises of: 1. 5 additional staff accommodation clusters with 430 single occupancy rooms, the design should allow for 10% future expansion. 2. Expansion of the staff kitchen and restaurant to accommodate 650 people. 3. Expansion of the laundry facilities. 4. Expansion of the central amenities and recreational facilities. 5. Additional contractor accommodation building of 115 rooms to accommodate 230 persons. 6. Expansion of NEB administration building to accommodate 75 persons of ADCO staff at Dabaiya. 7. New administration building at Rumaitha (50 offices) to accommodate 107 persons of ADCO staff at Rumaitha. 8. New integrated workshops building at Rumaitha ( mechanical, electrical and instruments workshops). 9. Multipurpose entrance buildings at Dabaiya and Rumaitha. Sustainability Project Objectives The project satisfied the requirement of achieving 1 Pearls as outlined in Estidama Pearl Rating System for Buildings and Community. Salimus scope of work was overall Sustainability management as well as Natural System assessment of the site and energy modeling of the new buildings.
